RETAIL SECTOR - STATIC SECURITY PERSONNEL.

 

The purpose of a Retail Security Officer is a high visibility deterrent, which patrols shop-floors and surrounding areas, deterring theft, collusion and maintaining a high level of security in minimising the risks of wrongful arrests or detention.

All of our Retail Security Officers are SIA Licensed and are trained to the highest standard. Retail Officers work in conjunction with Store Managers, remaining vigilant on any persons that may be banned from the premises, and also vigilant whilst patrolling the shop-floor, looking for any theft or collusion that may take place. This may be done on foot or through a CCTV Control Room.

The main roles of a Retail Security Officer are:

· To observe everyone and everything within the retail premises that they are working in.

· To prevent theft, loss and wastage

· To deter the operation of criminals

· To remain professional and focused at all times.

· To carry out the relevant checks and searchers, and to inform and report any incident using the correct documentation supplied.

 

All of our Guards must follow the instructions laid down by the company and client.

 

 

 

CCTV CONTROL ROOM - STATIC SECURITY PERSONNEL.

 

For either Retail or Commercial properties we can set up and run a CCTV Control room for you, this service is normally used in conjunction with either of our static guarding services for larger scale premises, for example, shopping centres, large commercial warehouses, or even town centres.

 

For larger premises CCTV can be a more cost effective and efficient service to employing several guards to secure your premises, CCTV cameras can be installed anywhere within or around your premises giving the reduced need of more security personnel, all images can be recorded and stored for legal purposes and again help in the reduction of shoplifting and or loss of valuable stock.

 

For smaller premises, CCTV can also be used on a smaller much simpler scale, cameras can be installed and linked to your computer system and viewed from a reception desk or control room, images can also be relayed live over the internet to any computer, anywhere.
